About this work
“One of a series of paintings of Covehithe in Suffolk. Constant erosion of the cliffs by the sea leaves a beach strewn with dead trees and other debris. The painting is a montage of painted layers where the bottom of the beach is torn along the bottom leaving a few stranded stones further emphasising the theme of erosion.”
