Excellent watercolour commission

Caricature for a birthday present
I contacted Allan at very short notice to do a caricature for a friend’s 70th! He was extremely helpful and provided a great quality picture with a very good likeness of the recipient. Paul was delighted with his present and it has become a talking point for visitors to his home. I would not hesitate to contact Allan again! Excellent!!
An outstanding Suffolk artist
We have recently commissioned Allan for two paintings – one in oil on canvas and one in acrylic (caricature) and also purchased another painting (David Bowie) in the style of Picasso. All paintings are wonderfully presented, the attention to detail on the paintings is a measure of a good artist. Clearly Allan has spent years and years training his skill and days and weeks painting. Naturally this has defined Allan’s unique style, richly detailed works and very easy on the eye! We highly recommend Allan for his broad display of artworks/commissions and well worth a visit to his (Suffolk Open Studios) open days.
Painting of Aldham Church
I asked Allan if he would do a painting of the church at Aldham as it was a special place for my partner and I. From the start through to completion Allan was professional, helpful and friendly. As I live some distance from Allan and the church, communication was all done via email. Again, Allan was excellent and was quick to respond. He visited the church to take photos from different angles to ensure I had a good selection of photos to choose from. Having selected the angle I wanted, he gave me a good idea of when the painting would be done. I have to say I was blown away by the painting it is truly brilliant. I haven’t at this point given the painting to my partner as it’s a surprise for later in the year but I have no doubt she’ll be as equally impressed. Delivery went as smoothly as the whole process. I would whole heartedly recommend Allan. I can’t thank him enough.
